TEMPORARY WORKER PROCEDURE

Please read in conjunction with contract for services.

Bookings

Before going on an assignment a member of Tiro will advise you of the company, location, contact name, job description and requirements. Please confirm your arrival on site by telephoning Tiro on 01224 630222

Emergency procedure / unable to attend work

If you are booked out on assignment and for whatever reason cannot attend the booking, call 01224 630222. Call Tiro first before speaking to our Client, do not leave a message, speak to a consultant.

Timesheet procedures

We will accept fax or email copies of the Tiro timesheet supplied to you. The deadline is 12.00 noon Monday for inclusion in Friday’s payment. A timesheet must be signed by an authorised person at the Client site. Please call to ensure your timesheet has arrived for processing. Hours are rounded down to the nearest 15 minutes. Late timesheets will not be processed until the following week. We have to work to our bank deadline for fund transfer.

Payment

Payment is a weekin arrears processed directly to your bank account on Fridays.

Overtime

Overtime is paid at standard rate, unless otherwise agreed by the client.

Payroll / tax advice

Please contact Tiro if you require any Payroll or Tax advice.

Holiday entitlement

Request holidays by speaking to your consultant at Tiro.

Interviews

Please arrange at times causing minimum disruption to the Client and giving as much notice as possible.

Cancellations

In the event of not being able to either start or complete an assignment, please give as much notice as possible so that alternative arrangements can be made. When in a long term / ongoing assignment it is asked that a weeks notice is given. In the event of a client cancelling the assignment we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and attempt to provide an alternative assignment.

Change of details

If any of your personal details change i.e. Postal Address, Contact Numbers or Bank Details please contact Tiro as soon as possible.

We are at all times relying on your professionalism, commitment and punctuality. If any problems arise please speak to an advisor who will endeavour to assist. Remember to regularly update your CV with assignments, and advise Tiro of any changes to your skills or circumstances.

As a temporary worker with our Client you are a representative of Tiro Recruitment. As such, in order to maintain highest standards OUR terms must be adhered to, regardless of policies of our Client.

Switch off your mobile phone during your working hours and restrict personal usage to break/lunch times only.

No personal calls should be entered into during working hours.

No personal use of company internet including web browsing or checking your personal emails.

Dress appropriately for the office environment. No jeans, trainers or slogan t-shirts. We would recommend business suit or smart trousers/skirt and shirt.
